Ball Corp. assumed with an Outperform at Credit Suisse 15:03 BLL Credit Suisse analyst Curt Woodworth assumed coverage of Ball Corp. with an Outperform rating and $105 price target. The analyst assumed coverage of the U.S. beverage can packaging sector with a "bullish" medium-term outlook. Ball has a proven track record in execution and has identified volume potential of another 20B cans net to the company by 2025, Woodworth tells investors in a research note. The analyst says Ball number one in earnings growth at 20% annual for the next five years.

Over a month ago it had a big up 25% sort of day. That took the price to $3.45
Now we are at $2.68 up 9%.

I feel like we may of touched on this stk once already... it's some type of cheap online place.

Wow 2013 til now....LightInTheBox Holding Co., Ltd.(NYSE:LITB) shareholders will doubtless be very grateful to see the share price up 71% in the last quarter. But that doesn't change the fact that the returns over the last five years have been less than pleasing. You would have done a lot better buying an index fund, since the stock has dropped 45% in that half decade.

There is a confusing aspect about NTLA that kept me away a year ago-- one of it's founders is a genius but she is now working with a private lab with a lot of hype and they will come public one day!

In early trading Wednesday, the gene-editing stocks were all up about 6% each, lifting Crispr Therapeutics to $93, Editas to $30.39, and Intellia to $22.20. Beam was up 5%, to $28.65.

NTLA is now $26 from $22.

Doudna now works at the University of California, Berkeley. Just on Tuesday, her privately held Scribe Therapeutics announced a partnership with Biogen(BIIB) that could bring Scribe over $400 million if they succeed in developing treatments for neurological diseases like amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, the progressive disorder that’s often called Lou Gehrig’s disease.

Charpentier is at the Max Planck Institute in Berlin. The firm she advises, Crispr Therapeutics, is furthest along among companies bringing gene-editing to the clinic. In Phase 1 trials, it has begun treating people who suffer from sickle cell. So far, the treatments have freed those folks from the disease’s awful symptoms.

So the whole who owns what patents it could get messy it is hard to understand... if we could private finance our way into Scribe Therapeutics in a round of funding that would be the best move!
 
There's a lot of game theory in both politics and stock picking. So when the opportunity to stack the supreme court with the current nominee came about one had to think what could be the downside of such a rush to judgement.

The first thing that I thought when I heard the news was I wonder if that's smart by Trump. He usually does stupid things. If I am a real conservative, if I am a real evangelical person or if I am a real Republican who cares about fiscal responsibility I have to ask myself-- what more do I need from this guy? I can stay at home The judge is a stay at home card. Her appointment de emphasizes the need to vote. The supreme court seat would of been handled smarter if dangled like a cherry to these folks... elect me and I will fill the vacant seat. Politically it would of been smarter to say in R Ginsberg's memory the seat shall remain vacant till after the election. Then both sides would stand on long lines.

Just looking at the charts it appears to mirror the dow oil and gas exploration index. Of course that doesn't mean it can't break out individually.

Its a no brainer stoney. Look at the big players. Low debt, low PE, decent dividends, all the manufacturing, distribution, retail/online relationships, priceless footprints of high value sales floor real estate in the likes of WMT, KR, etc... these things are here to stay.

They need some multiple expansion... catch up with all the other bs people are paying out the ass for because they're clueless.

They have the deep pockets required to meet any and all government requirements for safety etc and the capacity to feed millions.... and also fufill any government contracts that could happen.
