The major cruise lines as an aggregate are set for probably doubling by the end of the year. I bought a bunch of CCL Friday and RCL this morning. Holding them until further notice.
I'm not going into airlines, at least not with just probable vaccine availability in the near future. Business flying will never or at least not for a long time retrace to pre-covid levels. Businesses have learned to do without a lot of travel. So I think the cruise industry, which has mostly been tourism oriented, will far outpace airlines, train, and other travel stocks. And probably same could be said about the rental car industry. Tech will certainly rebound but the timing is uncertain, I have finally come to accept. I made money on tech in a nice smooth trend, and so I will wait for nice smooth trend to develop again.
Meanwhile I am up about $450 on the cruise stocks so far this morning. A good start is a good thing. I know there will be some big dips on the way up but I am feeling pretty good about cruise stocks for the longer term.
