Ideas For Now-

CHDN $141 has been sold from the Stocks for Now Portfolio we have two chunks of it which = $127 approx entry. $14 per share gain.

This is our 3rd sell I believe... Will be looking to replace with PENN at some point... Kind of interested in Barstool Sports which I have never been able to find on the net or TV but apparently they have a large following and PENN has the rites to the Barstool name in online gambling ventures...

Penn National Gaming, on the other hand, had its first big reopening on May 18. Just before the Memorial Day weekend, the casino operator reopened 10 gambling venues along the Gulf Coast. These aren't places you fly to, as much as places you drive to; they are more-local venues. And it appears that business was brisk.The Sun Herald in Biloxi reported that casinos in Mississippi made more over Memorial Day in 2020 then they did in 2019. Clearly there's some pent-up demand.

Based on the price gain in Penn's shares today, meanwhile, investors appear to have decided that casino operators with a more-local clientele are the hot ticket as the industry reopens.

OSIS-- Thermal reasons, airport security... It's been moving but i am nervous about this name could get a weird warning at any time about less funding by airlines... It makes sense.

IRM- This is the REIT that has a very large near 10%yied that is in a interesting niche of shredding documents business way down.. no new docs to shred and storing paper documents in caves which may be up as business are burned to the ground and threatened. Working from home.. These guys have been buying Data centers... Or maybe they just let people work out of the nuclear proof caves.

PENN-- These guys are regional in nature and that should be the way to
go in gaming. They have an agreement with Barstool that they hope to leverage into some sort of online betting site...

CRTO- This is a French Tech name. Sexy no?

KE- Low volume electronics name that sells into thermal imaging market but also cars...

LII & TT are the HEPA plays along with CARR

IRDM- Communications play built out satellite network... tricky stock we want it lower. I am well familiar bought many times over the years. Iridium is close to tuning the spigot on and generating some serious cash flow. Could even be a dividend stock someday...

Sinclair Broadcasting- Van's prescient call.... Baseball? Politics? Laid back dead dude that paints? Comeback chart> There is somethging here but what!

Well several things if they're premium sourced reports.

-See if anyone mentions any plans regarding gambling utilizing their Fox Sports acquisition.

-How well did their private placement go.

-Any forecasts on ad dollars to be spent for the upcoming elections

-And any and all commentary on current/forecast free cash flow.
 
I have 2 Premium reports! Today I read....

Folks we have a problem. Our HEPA plays have just exploded. It is quite possible we are in LII and then again equally possible we are not. This is due to a string of vague emails on my part to my financial advisor. Oh the money I have left on the table here. The first graph plot I did was at $87... oh the pain. Friday for no reason it went up $6!!!!<-- That might of got me in since I have it on a hot list, the idea of which is if someone watching the market all day every day sees it move just buy it... Competitor LII? Up $10!!!! Oh my. What is my problem...

This is messed up... I should of just followed through with my HEPA research... With Buys non-stop buys... Oh folks I fear i have let you down. Lets see how this plays out today... TT got a new PT of basically where it is now $108... damn it! Stock might be 105 at the open...

This could time out well with a correction.

SBGI management has stated that a pro-rated season would mean rebates from MVPDs and rebates to the teams that “very closely offset each other.” COULD BE~$70m reduction in net distribution revenue for 2020.<---- The networks will miss out on advertising revenue from the games, but this is offset by lower production expenses sort of.

Sounds to me that any delay in getting baseball going.. which could happen with these athletes in college starting to test positive for Covid that would be very bad for SBGI./ /

COVID-19 has outsize impact on local advertising. Sinclair’s guidance ~40% decline in core ad sales (excludes political)<----- That's a big decline but political could contribute... Timing here seems important... Trump is starting to spend because he is falling behind in some key states.

▪ SBGI – 1Q EBITDA Beat Nicely, 2Q EBITDA In-Line – 2Q Core Guided To Be Down 30-39%. Total revenues came in at $1,609MM -broken out by STG at $797MM (vs. our $816MM) and Diamond at $812MM (vs. our $826MM). The miss came from both Diamond (distribution revs) and STG (core). 1Q core advertising was -6% Adj. EBITDA, however, beat at $281MM vs. Consensus of $242MM – due to lower costs.

Reminder Sea Limited is a foreign stock so it has that advantage and it's into Online gaming and has the most popular shoot em up in a lot of far east places... also online pay and something else... I always forget.. these companies that are great at three things!!! WHAT DO I DO......????????
