Yes but is it warranted? I say Yes and No. actually No based on the science... In this sense...
- A virus number one job is to survive. Not to attack. It is born to survive. A virus can actually tell when it's being too powerful. When it's killing too many people and thus ensuring a vicious counter response by the host. A virus will mutate in order to survive and that mutation can be down as well as up. less powerful ans well as powerful.

Covid I believe has always been in two forms. One much more powerful. Now we are seeing younger people targeted by the disease. Why? The virus is incubating. The virus is toning down the death toll in order to survive... It is hiding in healthy people with no symptoms saying go ahead visit grandma I dare you.

I think this is where we are at... We are being tricked. We can't stop fighting. We can't let our guards down.

Mask Culture is here... that's why ETSY has been going up and up and up... it's the natural second form of Mask Culture lets create a cute one... But you have a President who won't endorse masks and therein lays a big American problem.

I don't think Elite Trader is the place but the HBO series Watchman really introduced masks and there is a spooky Police angle and white supremacy and of course it is all about Tulsa and the Tulsa massacre. Watchman feels like where we are now. In a way without even using a pandemic it has revealed us... foretold us and warned us.~stoney

Lets face it from now to the election most everyone can just sit on their asses and collect from Uncle Sam-- Andrew Yang was right! He was a good candidate! The Assured Wage or Common wage, I forget what they cal it- Universal Wage... that's it we are all going to be equal.

We all get a little spending money and we hide in our apartments covering our faces and ordering from Amazon. A new round of Unemployment payments that would get the market right.
 
I think that's the BIG risk here that we are being a bit complacent about assuming this vax will work right off the bat. Especially the one's racing ahead fastest they could slip up very easily and it wouldn't mean anything others are behind and using different methods... But the market would absolutely crumble.
 
Alright lets make some money. I can't find any ideas that are popping out to me. Ok so I trawl through my idea book and I see a stock that I have been following a stem cell play --that stock is right about where I was watching it many weeks ago.

PRICE ACTION:In morning trading, shares of Cytosorbents have dropped over 2% to $8.83, while Mesoblast has plunged about 6% to $12.90 and Pluristem has slipped almost 4% to $7.37. On the flip side, Athersys’ stock has jumped almost 20% to $2.36.

At the time I saw that different stock reaction to the rest and started following the name. Figuring there must be something good under the hood. Well $2.36 is now $2.80 something...
 
You know Dick has held up well. He looks healthy. Strong. Vibrant. @ $ 39.64
Basically $41 when we started to hover and then two big down days for the averages and the stk is... $39+ not bad. Olli hanging in as well!!

Dick's Sporting upgraded to Outperform from Market Perform at Cowen 05:42 DKS Cowen analyst John Kernan upgraded Dick's Sporting Goods to Outperform from Market Perform with a $50 price target.

That came on last Wed the big down day so safe to say that was lost in the fuss...

@JesseJamesFinn1 found one a few years back he posted here. Mazor Electronics, it was a robotics company based there. It was a great call, I was in and out a couple times. I liked them because they were like $ISRG. Sort of. Good job though digging up all that info on FVRR. Any company that doesn't report revenue though... I dunno. How does that even work? I say lets stay clear. Oh it'll probably keep going though (the Robinhoods are all sitting on their windfalls from HTZ right(?) and they do like to chat up stocks on $SNAP or Tic-Tac)... right up till the day it gaps down to $55, followed by the slow plunge to $30.

I have not made any channel-checks yet on $FND like I said I would. But... tbh Stoney... if I was forced to pick between that and DKS, FND easily gets the nod. They only have 100 stores so the growth is there. Pricey yes, but hey, thats the way the game goes ya know. Gotta pay for growth. DKS,,, its a dog Stoney. If you'd invested $100K in it back in 2011... aside from the divy's, guess what, you'd have $100K. The greatest bull market of all time and the thing got to $56. Woooo-hoooo! Its $39 now. Look how low it got in March. $20. That's the price I'd wait for... actually I wouldn't even buy it there unless its a real-estate play like K-Mart/Sears or Macy's now. I just don't see anything to get real excited about on that one. At least FND goes with our home-builder thesis. I do want to see a store though; I'll know instantly if that multiple is justified or not. They have a website of course, but I need to see a store if we are going to a add b&m play to the portfolio who's growth hinges on new locations.

I'm at a loss for calling which direction the overall tide is heading now. Part of me says stay in cash, the other part says we will have a blow-off top first. Don't want to be on the side-lines for that.
I guess I'm unsure because its one of the few times I don't really know what to think about the number one thing guiding the market now. Covid. There's so much conflicting info. You're the biotech engineer, that stuff is not one of my fortes. That's for sure. You talk about these virus's like they are a civilization. Like they actually 'think'. Interesting to say the least. That stupid Disney ride comes to mind... ♫ "its a small world after-all... its a small, small world (repeat 8MM times)"♫.

Ordinarily when it comes to the tide, I always ask myself what's the hardest button to push? Buy or sell? Right now its "buy". That usually works... but is this time different Stoney? For once I'm at a loss of an opinion.

You didn't just say cracks in the swimming pool Van!!!!! We have been experiencing low water levels which causes the filter to act up and I've been half afraid there is a crack somewhere, although apparently a lot can burn off and evaporate in this hot weather.

Yes it's been one calamity after another, I told my wife I'm just trying to dodge falling trees when she asked how I am doing... Now I am afraid of. Falling trees! One of my big headaches is this Land Trust that abuts my property, they sent some surveyers over and then they sent me some scary notes. Apparently my stone grotto I built near the pool extends onto their property. It cost a bloody fortune and requiored heavy machinery I can no longer get into the area. Then they went on to say some of my gardens and a fire pit also was on their property... those two items have been here for the thirteen years I have been here and then twenty years before so we are talking continuous use for 33 years and they send me a scary note!!!! Part of me wants to reply with one of my patented angry letters cause' I am angry but the stone grotto I put up that's the problem... I need like twenty feet!!!!

Oh and the AC that was hot wired it stopped working. So now I'm waiting for the outside breaker to be reinstalled and then I'm really wondering whether this machine is going to turn on.

In an open letter, Gilead Sciences (NASDAQ:GILD) Chairman & CEO Dan O'Day announces the price of antiviral remdesivir, still the only drug approved by the FDA for emergency use in COVID-19.

Aimed at "broad and equitable" access at a time of urgent global need, the company has priced it at $390 per vial or $2,340 per five-day course (six vials), the most common treatment regimen for COVID-19 patients, substantially below what some analysts have been projecting.
