.. My guess is though it stalls out at like $620.
Hahahahah.

You wrote that yesterday morning. Today we had 4.8MM shares, a 7% jump, a $30 price range, and probably the most talked about stock of the day.

Did you happen to see today's high?

-------- $619.97 ------

You're somethin' else Stoney.
 :fistbump:

I look at what to buy and what to buy is looking different!
It's TIME FOR VALUE--
I thought about this for the last two days, your words don't fall on deaf ears. My initial reaction was to write back with "there's no value left out there, we have to pay up and hope we don't get caught holding the bag".

Then bam, it came to me stoney.

An overlooked dog of a sector that hasn't budged. And imo, it'll be a goldmine if we have a second wave of flu+covid in the coming 6 months.

Its election proof too.

Consumer packaged foods.

Its a no brainer stoney. Look at the big players. Low debt, low PE, decent dividends, all the manufacturing, distribution, retail/online relationships, priceless footprints of high value sales floor real estate in the likes of WMT, KR, etc... these things are here to stay.

They need some multiple expansion... catch up with all the other bs people are paying out the ass for because they're clueless.

"But its boring."

Wrong.

If Covid rears its ugly head again, these stocks will soar. They have the deep pockets required to meet any and all government requirements for safety etc and the capacity to feed millions.... and also fufill any government contracts that could happen. (I mean if the worse case scenario happens god forbid)

A few names come to mind, Kraft Heinz (KHC), Campbell's Soup (CPB).... but if I have to pick a favorite... without having done too much homework yet... I'm gonna say good ol' J.M Smuckers.

($SJM) Its at $117.

I have actually been in and out of this thing several times over the years. Long and short. They have a big pet food division too as I recall. I like that. I haven't looked at it in awhile though. At first glance it looks good. Needs more dd though.

Hey you wanted value. Its not sexy.... but do we really wanna pay 50X sales(!) for tech companies that won't turn a profit for 20 years?

$SJM

I'll find another good one.
Look in frozen foods stoney. There's one there, I forget the name though. Whoever owns Birdseye I think. Easy enough to find. Disclaimer, I have done no DD yet on any of the above. I do like Smuckers though. Its overdue to break north, its been in this range forever.
