Van there is ' reply ' & 'share ' I didn't see ' quote ' so I cut & past
Yeah, the "reply" button is what I meant.
So, say you are starting a new post and you want to quote something from last year and insert it in the new post.
Start like you normally do, then open a new tab and find the old post you want to quote. Hit "reply" on the old post, cut out what you don't want, then copy the whole thing and post it in the window for the new post.
The important thing is to make sure when you are copying whatever it is you want to quote, you keep the part below I underlined in red. The square brackets are key. You can do whatever you want in between them.
Note that things like media within the post have square brackets too.
If you don't want the above YouTube in your quote it will look like this:
See how I deleted the "media" stuff.
Its not that hard, if you mess it up just hit delete post.
Pay attention to your square brackets stoney.
