Because it would be the right thing to do. After all, it's the only hope the concept of "America" has remaining.... short of an armed revolution... and nobody wants that!
What I expect, however, is for the whole thing to end up being merely "theatre"... with the final outcome being... "let the cheat stand and move along".
It's interesting.... how the consequences of 1 vote can have such a dramatic impact. Take Obamacare.... two times.... 1st, the Dem's cheat to get Franken the Minnesota Senate seat and the 60th vote to pass Obamacare... and then McCain's vote siding with the Dems to prevent its repeal.
Pence's actions may have a dramatic impact... bigger than Obamacare, of course.... but "1-vote drama" nonetheless.
