NQ is leading to the downside in volume, es and ym are not moving :(

out @15.25 for +1
PA is a mess. Need to be careful here.
something going on with AAPL is affecting NQ

long 3@16.5, stop@15.5 ->aapl is recovering dragging nq up and the rest. plus 1-2-3 bounce of daily vwap for es.

covered @16.75. messy price action. taking a break now.

You might want to consider using cash price for your gap entries due to the eroding nature of ES.

1310.58 was the close, we touched 1311.74, so we didn't completely close it on the cash either. I use 4pm close ES.

I think I just need to redefine gap closed within 1 point.

what do you do if you have a really hard losing day? do you take a day off or trade the next day?

trade the next day.
but I'm trying not to have 'really hard losing days' by having tight stop losses all the time and i'm also trying to figure out my max loss for the day after which I just stop trading and walk away.

sell 3@17.5, stop 18.25 -> PP rejected and we have a LH, AAPL is turning down again, $tick is negative.

stop moved to 17.5

by the way, the challenges you listed...pretty much mine...do you have a certain $$ amount that if you are losing, you stop trading for the day...?

I'm going to add another rule to my trading - max loss for the day before commission is $600

I had cash gap at 1310.87

Within 1 point is fine as long as your strategy can handle the extra point of heat if the trade is wrong.
