BookTrader is perhaps the biggest problem; I don't know what they did to it but I couldn’t get the columns right at all (while the prior version was just fine). And I also noticed that the Scanner's columns apparently need to be reset (unnecessarily), but I didn't even try as I couldn't get BookTrader to work and just gave up because I am tired of debugging TWS. (I know, I know, I'm a fool for even trying to use the latest version of TWS.)

I have also noticed that the book trader is a bit weird lately (945.2b). If you size the columns the way you want them and then switch away to a different screen/desktop, they reset to the original sizing which compresses a lot of the details you so carefully adjusted when you first started up TWS.
 
what happened to booktrader are only 2 instances of it able to be usable at the same time, it use to be 3?

actually i need 5 or 6 at the same time for my trading, that`s an improvement that is appealing to me:)

It used to be 3 and I think they changed it to some number that's related to how much you trade (potentially more or less than 3). I can't remember the details offhand, but it was in one of the update emails I think.
 
I need one for my bond setup, natural gas, oil, es, and nq, 2 currencies minimum - i would ideally like to have all these markets set for one click trading on booktrader so my 12 monitor trading rig is the same everyday, not having to close one booktrader out to open another for another futures market when it becomes hot. Why do they even care how many can be operational at the same time, trades are just bypassed because their setup leads to not being just in time with the click on an exceptional price in a given futures market because the technology setup doesn`t enable one click trading on booktrader in 7 plus markets...............the setup is everything for being able to trade more, which would create more daily commissions for ib..............end of rant:)

Thank you for working with us to address this issue; would you please login again using older settings you had pre-upgrade (PM me if you want me to email them to you plus instructions on how to apply them) using just posted 946.2d and confirm that your problem is addressed?

@MoreLeverage: please try using 946 (latest TWS) and see if the problem is still there (if it is, please PM me and we'll take it from there).
