IB's 'Modify multiple orders'

Lets say I have 10 in stocks open, all for buying, I want to change them in a way that the bid would be set according to a formula like 'last -50 cents' or something like that. How to do that?

I'm using the modify multiple orders dialog box but when I input my data on the 'Set Price - Buy Orders' that order prices don't get changed

nevermind. If you don't subscribe for the data they won't let you do that even if you use 'close' as criteria, that was the problem
 
you mean that the order will be rejected because there is no data? i don't think so. API can override any precaution settings. on one corp account i do trade without any data subscription. tens or trades and orders all without data. i mean no data subscription on this account,data comes into my application from third party

I'm not even using the API. This is a different strategy, not Opening orders. The Modify mutiple orders from TWS will not update the order without real time data
