IBKR with MT4

I can't believe I didn't find anything about using MT4 to trade with IBKR.
I expect that to be possible, but I need to know how and if there are implications to it.

I choose MT4 because it shows me my free margin, as well as better P&L visibility. I don't know how to set that up in TWS and support didn't help at all.

IBKR does not support MetaTrader.

Hi, Im currently researching on the most common softwares for trading and surprised to see that MT5 doesnt have a direct connector with IBKR. The only options are

I don't prefer to connect through a 3rd party for stability and know limitations.
