i think this thing will open up. but beware; i haven't seen an IPO that's exceeded opening highs lately. Everything gets faded.

140m shares were bid above 30.01 and only 40m shares filled, so this says 100m shares need a home in IBKR at prices likely up to $39. Keep in mind that the pricing seems to show there was large orders at $30 even that may want to pay up also. The demand seems to be enormous for this IPO that will start trading some time tomorrow with lots of interest from institutions like Merrill who were left out.

but how many people bid several times what they really wanted in order to get the allocation? of the 140m bid I doubt half that is actually even nearly real.

Not many people do that.. at least not to the extent of more then double.

Funds have gotton fucked far too many times w/ getting more shares then they wanted (or could afford!) by overbidding to do it on such a massive scale. I'd say at minimum 66% of the bids are real.
