what a waste of time this ipo was, too much hype....

Look at TRAD and OXPS...

I don't agree with you about this ipo being a waste of time after closing and booking a quick 3.1k on part of my allocation.

Actually, there are 400m shares outstanding sise, so 13bln is correct..

Oh, I thought it was 40 M oustanding...I haven't been following too closely. That's fucking insane then! Also what's odd is that only 20 million shares have traded today...that's really low considering there's 400M out now. Wild!

When will the short shares be available on the IB system? 3 or so days?

I'm also waiting for when there are shares available to short.

You gotta consider that most of the Street and the public is not even aware of IB.

The hype seems high because we are all very familiar with IB and the other direct access brokers. On the whole, this is somewhat low key. It's sort of a niche group of individuals that know about it and are very excited.

Ask your average bulge bracket firm employee about IB and I bet they will have no idea. You think those suits in sales & trading know about Interactive Brokers?

I'm glad it's going down, I'm looking to buy a tiny bit as a small investment. Now that it is public, the PR will start picking up, or at least it should.
