IBD turns completely bearish

Quote from midlifeguy:

Everyone is bearish now. We are due for a rally.

I was bearish since August 2006....

:D :D :D :D

took only how many months before the market finally realized that there were bubbles in real estate and every credit market......

Quote from SteveD:

O'Neill probably advised more institutional investors than anyone around....when people talk of a "group" it is IBD's grouping they are referring....

He buys stocks that have increasing revenue, increasing profits and a relative small float, DUH....

He is probably the first and best momentum investor....combines technical and fundamentals....

IBD tries to give you some ideas to explore...

He is not a daytrader.....but he is rich....

RE; What is in a name, a prime not subprime name.

I don't like being negative, so i won't;
& IBD is much more comprehensive in editorials than most major media, they do quote''on the left,on the right'' Not just the left or even sillier, not pretendimng major media media is not left .

As far as timing the bear market he likes downtrends when 50 day moving average crosses below200 dma. & not just a brief dip below..........................Could be why he named it Investors Business Daily, not Trader Business daily

Fun discussion,cool:cool:

I haven't read IBD in years, I don't like their reporting. Daily market summaries would be peppered with phrases like "you have to remember that", or "think about this". When I read a market summary, I want a report, not a lecture.
