The last thread was getting a little old, long and tired. Thanks to alanm, he has posted his IB commission matrix for all of us to see:

My final conclusion on which is cheaper (IB or FFastTrade) is cut off at 900 contracts per month:
FfastTrade= 900 contracts X 1.66 + 550 (platform fee)= $2044
IB= 900 contracts X 2.27= $2043
Both are fairly comparable below this volume, but IB has MUCH better front-end applications and a Universal Trading account, poor customer service.
FFastTrade is fast and has excellent customer service, but platform is VERY basic.
