Have you checked that all accounts under your Paper Corporate will get Can$ 1million compensation each by CIPF? it seems only protecting Individuals.

and how about taxation? do you need to pay profit tax if you trade under IB Canada as individual or Corporate?

My Refco's futures a/c was frozen, I am very interested in opening an account in IB Canada. Please advise.
 
hi chuck12345 - all good points... no real intention to open via Can. here to be honest, just a bad habit i've developed, hijacking national benefits from countries i'm not a resident of i guess...
