IB TWS v847 beta

In OptionTrader the dragging and dropping option legs to make a spread locks up the whole program when you click ok to request market data.
Back to legging the spreads, pity my margin!

I avoid beta tws releases like the plague. Actually, I dislike all tws upgrades. I'd still use version 783 if they'd let me.

I had problems with screen redrawing in 843.7 and 845.5 so this is my only chance to actually put a trade on!

Can you please tell me the legs you were dragging in so I can attempt to reproduce the problem?

NDX, change exchange from nasdaq, which is not an options exchange to ise,
click on generic combo, drag june 1650 call , drag june 1675 call, change 1650 call to sell, click on ok to request market data. Program locks up, has happened three times.

How do you ensure you get 1$ a contract smart routing commission when trading a spread?

I have replicated this problem, which initially occurred using Firefox, in Internet Explorer version 6, xp sp2.

This is using IB TWS 847.5 beta on a hp xw6000 workstation, dual 2.8mhz xeon, 1gb ram, scsi, ati 9000 radeon graphics.

Still not fixed in TWS version 847.6 using java 1.5.02. When is it going to be looked at? I want to put some spread orders in.

I have given up with ther beta and gone back to 846.5 standaalone. Works ok so far.
