IB TWS too complex

What I am saying is that Ninja is a broker neutral front end trading system that can be used with many brokers' trading platform for ease of trading and some automation. You can have multiple accounts with multiple brokerages all in one platform. You chose which broker to direct your specific trade.

That being said, IB also has prime broker services where you can place trades with one broker and clear it thru IB, but that can getb a little expensive.

Quote from OldTrader:

As I mentioned before, I use the expanded view. In that view all 40 rows show. If I use the regular view, only about 25 rows show, with the rest taken up by things like tool bar, quote panel, etc.

I'm going to try to attach a screenshot of that monitor. Hopefully it will work.

The market scanner that you show on the right hand side in the png image, what do the single digits represent?

It's one of the scans available in TWS. During the day it shows real time info on the items shown there, like advancing issues, declining issues, etc. Then at some point after the market closes, it just goes to single digits as you see there. The single digits really don't represent anything.

Quote from learner2007:

If you can afford using so much space for BookTrader, your way is just fine. But if you should ever be cramped for space you might want to give my setup a try. I've used both, and can't imagine ever changing back. But you should wait to test it out until IB changes back to the pre-891 system or creates an option to do so.

You win by 6 weeks. I'll have to live with being number 2.
I'll keep your secret about the fake ID. But I'm sure the statue of limitations has run out by now!

All the best,
learner

Not so fast there, young'n. I'm 65, be 66 in Aug. I'd bet there are people here on ET a lot older than us. Stosh
