IB TWS terrible for Mac Users

Quote from MiamiHurricanes:

With the amount of notional capital that is traded, the software should be nothing less than absolutely flawless.

I'll be waiting for your perfect software and for your reaction to irate customers like yourself that you have to provide support to.

You should ask yourself who comes first, the customer or the broker dealer? I am not associated with a broker dealer. I really want to see more comments from broker dealer loving "customers"... c'mon have you tongued your broker today?

Quote from kiwi_trader:

To put software and flawless in the same sentence displays a reluctance to accept reality.

Are you a Microsoft employee?

Quote from Jackson:

Is anyone else having freezing issues or memory leaks with the TWS from Interactive Brokers running on a Mac?

Start with broad strokes:

Is anyone else using a mac?

Quote from Jackson:

I have had many problems with the TWS since switching to a Macintosh iMac one month ago. The main issue is the the TWS keeps freezing and the only way to resolve the situation is to shut it down and restart it...."

Serves you RIGHT!... and all the other snobby-ass Mac users, too...

(Does Linux run on a Mac?... so that certain users could be known as "DOUBLE SNOBBY-ASS"?)

F that - It just shows the incredible arrogance and complete attitude of IB. They don't give a @#% because they are too worried about getting the latest neon and pastel polo's so that can pop a collar and drink wine spritzer at the country club this upcoming weekend in CT.

It is amazing to see customers side with brokers - happy with the state of financial trading software these days. Are you joking? With the amount of notional capital that is traded, the software should be nothing less than absolutely flawless.

LOL.

Or...

Since <1% of traders use a MAC...

:-/

I mean really man.

Problem solved - there was an error with IB's code. Someone at apple figured it out. It has been corrected in the latest standalone version for MAC. thanks for all the responses.
