Although it's Thursday, I can already tell you the answer: it worked.
I was there at 23:57 (US CT), when their servers were rebooting and IB Gateway got disconnected, and was attempting the first, second and third "logging on" or I forgot what term it uses. After a few attempts it re-logged in and it never requested the security token, so I am very satisfied. I consider all problems solved. Thanks, IB.
