IB TWS "Order reject: unable to compute a monetary value for the underlying contract"

I am trying Interactive Brokers TWS. When I submit a BUY order for BNP (or any other SBF stock) I get an error message from TWS: "Order reject: we are unable to compute a monetary value for the underlying contract". Do you know why? Is it a limitation of the demo system? Will I be able to transmit orders on Euronext Paris once my IB account will be opened? Thank you for your hints...
