IB TWS is getting Ridiculously slow

Check all of your processes with TASK Manager and see what the CPU loadings are like.

do you mean you click on buy, and it takes a second to show the price?
do you mean you click on "T" and it takes a second to transmit?
do you mean your charting software is drawing slower than the quote?
do you mean the quote is late compared to your esignal screen?
what do you mean by "slow" ?
if your java.exe is using 2~3% of the CPU, what program is using the most?
