IB TWS build 871: data freeze issue (hopefully) fixed

"If TWS temporarily lost the connection to the market data server, in some cases the connection was not restored properly and the quotes on the screen would appear frozen. This is fixed."

Fellow TWS users with a practical problem-solving (as opposed to whining) mentality might like to give build 871 a try.

Thanks for the info. I had that data freezing problem and didn't know about the fix.

Can anyone verify this actually fixed it? I've heard "this has been fixed" more times than Mark Twain quit smoking.....

I haven't had any pinkouts, disconnects nor data freeze problems in the last couple of weeks. Looks like they fixed those issues for good.

I don't know if it's just me but my P&L totals are taking as much as 15 min to show on closed positions. Open positions P&L is fine. I'm getting this on tws 872.5

Version 871.3 seems best for me so far.

Yes it's fixed. TWS has been running smooth as silk since my last post on 4/27.
