IB TWS API ActiveX VB on Windows 7 Pro 64-bit

I am porting my trading app from VB6 to VB 2008 Express and want to upgrade to Windows 7 Pro 64-bit.

Its am currently running well on Windows 7 32-bit Release Candidate 1.

I understand there are problems with the ActiveX API under W7 64bit.

Anyone been successful running VB Activex API under W7 64-bit?

What steps you needed to take to make it work? Which JVM (32bit
or 64bit)?

Is the runtime distributable for VS 2005 required?
