IB Tax Forms

Hi All,

I'm trying to finish up my 2005 taxes and the forms (numbers) I recieved from IB seem completely wrong. Has anyone else had this problem?

Last year the 1099 was off by $0.01, but this year it matched my records.

Nice. I'm going through the statements those seem fine. But the Tax Forms just didn't make sense.

Remember that some stuff is not reported (like equity options).

Did you have to hire an accountant to deal with that?

Was IB willing to reimburse you if you did?

I have always noted some minor (and sometimes major) typos and such with my year-end statements with IB. One must check, and then check again.

After all, I don't see the IRS accepting the "it's not my fault, it's IB's" line.
