I would like to have IB implement/fix a few enhancements:
***1) In the sub-menu of the stock quantity section of the TWS' grid and Alerts, where the popped sub menu shows numbers like 100,200,300, etc. (which supposedly helps the users to fill out stocks' quantity quickly), I want IB to add something like "position" which will automatically set the number of shares the user is currently holding.
***2) IB's Alerts to send/cancel a stock order needs quite a bit of improvements. For example,
*i)If you use a conditional stock order (to be triggered in the future) using Alerts, it will show up with the exact same status-color (the same color as "order placed") and configuration in TWS for both "saved" and "activated". Having the exact same color/configuration for an Alerts' order (to be triggered in the future) for both "saved" and activated" is confusing and misleading at times. IB needs to change the color-coding to help distinguish between "saved" and "activated".
*ii) The users should be able to "deactivate" and "transmit" (if they later decide to) an order in TWS placed via Alerts---just like they are able to do for an order placed from TWS' grids.
*iii) The users should be able to re-use/activate their "saved" Alerts' orders more than once.
***3) I want IB to add an option to have "trailing stop-limit" order. A few other competitors already have it. Currently IB only offers trailing stop (market) order---but not "trailing stop-limit" order i.e., when the stop activation price hits, the resulting order becomes a limit order at/around the stop activation price. (If it helps them to implement faster, IB can restrict the limit price just 2 decimal points if they like.) It will be up to the users to choose between "trailing stop-market" and "trailing stop-limit" orders.
