IB Suggestions & Improvements

Wow IBsoft you guys are really moving quickly on those charts in 852! impressive!

One thing I would like to suggest is the ability to adjust bar/candlestick width. I find that viewing a 5 day chart brings out tiny bars which make analysis difficult.

also the option to have the price values on the right hand side of the chart would be handy.

Oh and font size adjustability would be great.

I'll stop now:cool:

Yep.....852 is a major step forward!
852 does allow you to place the price values on the right: Bring up a chart>Configure>Settings>Check "Display price axis on right".

I would like two improvemens as follows:

1. When I use an outside computer-say internet cafe- I would like my page setups as they are on my home computer.

2. I would like breakdown of my margin used by individual positions in the accounts window. -in realtime.

Thanks

here is a suggestion/improvement

STOP MY FREAKIN QUOTES FROM GOING IN AND OUT ALL DAMN DAY

upgraded and still the same thing..

have to keep shutting down IB and reloggin' in...

killin me...

The only improvement I would like is to have the facility to buy or sell at market using the booktrader. Several competitors / software add-ons exist that have this facility -- TT as an example of the former, TradeMaven as an example of the latter --2 buttons, allowing one to buy @ market or sell @ market would be great.

thank you.

I would like to see MIT/Market if Touched Orders. In other words, if I input a limit order, say to sell 3000 AAPL @ 59, and
it subsequently trades at that price(preferably a user-defineable # of times), at some point (preferably a user-defineable time interval) afterward any unfilled portion of my order converts to a market order.
