Has anyone here been trading BOT grain futures here through IB? Could you tell me how its going in terms of response times and fills? Or maybe the IB could tell how its going?

Didn't know there was any grain or soft futures traded via IB.

Only things in the commodity area that I know of are gold, silver,

oil,and currencies.

Please call out any thing else that is available as the general

commodity arena is hot and futures trading may be the best way

to go.

Use contract search on home page, black bar, right side:

Enter :
contractType = futures
currency = USD
underlyingType =Grains, Energy, softs, etc
Find

You may add additional filters for exchange or description or other parameters as you wish.

Please provide historical data for indexes on TSE.

I tried, TOPX, TICK-TSEJ and TRIN-TSEJ
there are no historical data for these.

We are having problems getting this product on line.

Although I feel that TWS has too many bells and whistles as it is, I would like to suggest 2 additional features:

1) Cancel All Pending/Open Orders - this should be done on the server-side and not on TWS. It should kill all orders even if they are "invisible" to TWS.

2) Flatten All Positions - again, this should be a server-side operation, and should be based on actual open positions and not what is currently shown on the the account page (which may be temporarily incorrect during periods of frequent disconnects and reconnects).

On days like last week, this should give traders the option to send 2 simple commands, shut down their workstation, and quit for the day away knowing for sure that they are flat.

weekly candlestick charts have become incomprehensible due to da only option to have 'em with 1hour[day?] bar...1/3month charts are useless as they are... they impossible to read....15min/30min candles ought to be introduced.
