Would really appreciate some help on an issue I encountered in IB today
- Bought BRR contracts at 10:26am, filled at 70,017 with a stop order (market) at 69,490
- At 10:32 I noticed the stop order never executed and closed the position manually (filled at 68025)
- At 10:33 closed the stop order (which still was just sitting there gray order status in TWS
- I called IB and they acknowledged it seemed like a “glitch” since the trigger was met and said they are following up with the engineers
- I’m going to call over the weekend and follow up but my question is has anyone encountered this before and effectively recouped lost funds?
