They also suspended intraday margin trading due to "market volatility."

We did not suspend intraday trading and I used my CME Direct platforms at 2am and 4am with no issues with my account at Lightspeed/Wedbush.
restarted the software, seems to have helped. but why did it break on the open . rarely have that trouble?

I thought they were referring to excess margin for day traders. We still offer up to 4X for futures and still offered it today.
backed out to the 958 build, seems better. anyone else using the new 960 build and have issues with quotes?
"Hosed" is nearly meaningless. I'm running 960.2 and all my quotes look just fine.
