IB - RRSP/TFSA - Canada

How is it that IB does not offer RRSP and TFSA accounts in Canada? They would dominate this arena and it couldn't be that difficult to enforce/report the rules for these accounts.

i've asked the same question and they've said the amount of red tape for managing the accounts and sending info to the government has made it not worthwhile for them to want to do it.

Questrade has an RRSP in $U.S.

I know it's not IB, but it is a trading RRSP alternative ...

TFSA is probably not something they would be interested in at this point, given the low balances, but there are plenty of 6 and 7 figure RRSPs out there.
