IB reporting problems

has anyone experienced problems with IB's P/L reporting? using them to calculate my Tax situation showed a $15K over eagerness.

My accountant took some convincing to ignore them and use my alternative method.

I spoke to a couple of people at IB who said 'yeah, its just a guide - don't rely on them'.

Are any of the 3rd party reporting tools any good?

Are you talking about the P&L on your statements? If so, it is worthless in my experience. I had constant problems with them getting my P&L and cost basis correct when I traded options and a few covered calls with them, which is one of many reasons I closed my account. If you ask IB to correct it, they will tell you there is nothing they can do.
 
i've noticed ib doesn't give a regular 1099 like most brokers. they give a yearly statement. is that yearly statement accurate?
 
anyone having problems with data from IB today?
on some stocks it did not showing any data and everything is fine on another account

Having problems as well. Some stocks are not showing bid/ask.
