IB rebate on algo execution

I've just started using the accumlate/distribute algos in IB to handle some of my execution in the TF & ES contract and have noted that they give me a rebate of some sort for that - it shows up as a deposit in my daily statements.

Does anyone know where that rebate is coming from? I must be missing something.

It is a special 25% rebate on the IB part of the commission for using the accumulate/distribute algo and the rebate ends 08/31/2010.
 
they've been giving the rebate for a year now. it's the only reason i use their scaling algo. once they rescind the rebate, i won't use scale algo orders anymore.
