I also downgraded, to 753.6, and did not experience any of the problems again.
Unfortunately, a friend of mine has also had those problems we all know. Unfortunately, because I got to know today that he is was using exactly the version that I downgraded to when he had the problems on thursday and friday. He did not experience any problems today without changing anything.
I have had problems with quotes since middle of last week. After anywhere from a few minutes to a couple hours the number of bids will start displaying as negative numbers for one or more stocks then slowly affect all other numbers displayed. The worst is when it first starts and you are unaware of the invalidity of the quotes. I have contacted IB through chat and email with no result other than that they will inform technical dept.
Reboot solves for short time. I am using latest version of TWS, although I have experienced this problem in past, but never to this degree.
I have a PIII 550 256MB connected with Cable (also tried with 56K with same results)
I had same problems. Went down to 753.5 from 754.2, and had no problems today. It seems to be a stocks only problem, not effecting futures. Go to one of the links in the previous posts and download an older version. You should be ok.
IB quotes today were slow and not keeping up with the market on the stocks I was trying to trade. At times, I had to stop trading and sit and watch or look at another stock. I would not want to trade on IB TWS without my RealTick confirming data.
