OK, today I started trading YJ on ACE.
Once I was stopped out, at a price 5 pts better then my stop AUX price (thanks IB!), and the market continued to go up. I had this order in OCA group A1.
Later, I entered another position, and a corresponding stop order, in OCA group A1. Immediately the stop cancelled. Is this because OCA group A1 had been filled? If so, when can I start reusing OCA groups.
Twice today, my stop was not elected, and the market traded right through. Luckily, I was at my desk and was able to manually stop out. What ar ethe criteria for stops to trigger?
Now I see that the YJ quotes are totally screwed up.
I thought stops were held on IBs servers. When I am submitting the stops, the status is Green, which I believe means it is at the exchange.
how do stops really work on ACE? Are they off bid, ask last?
Also P&L, is it per day, and tied to last price, or to bid/ask?
When I take a look at my account, it shows a cash balance, and a futures value of ($16), even though I am currently flat. What does futures value mean?
