IB question: How to convert KRW into HKD in

I want to convert KRW in my trading account to HKD, the base currency is HKD. I used to convert between USD and HKD and JPY and HKD through IDEAL with IB TWS, but this time TWS advised me that " You are not allowed to open a position of KRW".

What does this mean ? How can I make conversion between KRW and other currencies ? Thanks for any help.

I'm not sure if this is an after hours issue or not (in Korea the banks effectively stop making markets after 3 PM). I've passed your message, along with some other details along to our operations group for further feedback.

I think it was business time when I tried to make the conversion. I could see the ask/bid price, and the ask/bid size was large enough. I tried to place a market order but failed.
