IB Product listing

No. There are three annoying things about the IB product listings (if you're listening guys):

- no way to search product listing, only a global website search
- no consolidated csv of all products (ideally with characteristics)
- no page to see new products that have been recently added or deleted

Hi,

I'm able to find iron ore futures contract using the TIO symbol in TWS. How can I find this on the IB product listing page: https://www.interactivebrokers.com/en/index.php?f=products

Tried searching and looking under futures > comex.

I thought I might be able to get a full listing of futures contracts from the product list page.

Click on the product type, region (North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific) and click on the exchange and you'll get a full list. Iron Ore is on the SGX as you can see on the link above.

Thanks @def

(I mean, it's a different iron ore contract listed on the wrong exchange with the wrong symbol trading in a different continent, but close enough I suppose)

Now, how about the other two things on my christmas wish list:

- no consolidated csv of all products (ideally with characteristics)
- no page to see new products that have been recently added or deleted

TIO Iron ore futures from Comex.
volume is around zero.

You might end up the only one in this world trading this contract
(provided you can find a broker which offers such an illiquid futures).

There are quite a few Iron ore futures contracts in this world
(eg US, Singapore, Hong kong)
that have almost zero volume.

Go try
Iron ore futures from Dalian Commodity Exchange from China.
China is a big consumer of iron ore.
I don't think IB offers products from DCE.

Thanks. I'm not looking to specifically trade iron ore contracts (yet); but doing some checks to confirm that the product listing page is the full list of all securities traded. The TIO contract below doesn't appear on the listing page, do you know why?

I have wasted my resources responding to you ( see my post #8).

I will be more careful not to waste my resources.
