IB now opens 25 empty Book Traders

Several times, on two different computers, the latest version of IB's TWS --I use "Classic" version -- starts by opening about 25 blank Book Traders.

I had left a message with IB few days ago, but no response, so posting here.

To fix the problem, when starting IB, go to "more options," and select "Stable" rather than "Latest" version.

The title is written in such a way that
it appears to be GOOD NEWS.

It seems like you are rather pleased with the solution (using a Stable program).

Post the number of your report and someone will reply now you have posted publically.
 
I only use the Offline TWS. I decide when to update and can roll back if there's an issue. I keep all the previous versions.
 
I do not know, if it is any help

But, in the TradersAcademy *Advanced* *TWS Advanced Trading Tools* video it is said *Number of deep book data panels depends on the number of allowed market data lines* in Book Trader.
 
The video also says it depends on comisions * So, if you trade alot you got some data for free and vis versa.
