IB No Longer Offers FX for U.S Retail Accounts?

Never been a forex trader, but was looking to start dabbling....and I noticed that neither my IBKR IRA or Individual accounts seem to have forex trading permissions. Looking around a bit... I cant find any listing of the forex leverage offered, but did find an old thread here on ET that says levereged forex is no longer offered to U.S clients..... is this true?

In general I believe but somehow IG is now involved in the US market, not sure what they're doing there.
 
Well futures liquidity is adequate if you
Trade 10s or even 100s of Millions on your account. If you are multi billion hedge fund, then yes, it might be a bit difficult. I doubt many on this forum operate billions.
