IB no Eurex quotes!

02:35 - 03:20 EST (& ongoing) ...

IB is not transmitting any quotes from Eurex (DTB) saying there are technical problems at the exchange. Can anyone comment as to whether this is affecting all quote vendors or just IB?

Yes, Eurex is the root of the problem. I have two independent Eurex feeds and both are not showing any live quotes. Too bad, cause the huge gap down might have yielded some good trade opps. The cash DAX index is currently trading 3,434 as of 9:41.

Eurex Trading Suspended, Exchange Investigating, Spokesman Says

Oct. 23 (Bloomberg) -- Eurex AG, the world's busiest futures
exchange, said trading was suspended and it is investigating the
cause of the disruption.
Frankfurt-based Eurex, owned by Deutsche Boerse AG and the
Swiss Stock Exchange, informed all members, and the exchange is
looking into what happened, spokesman Frank Hartmann said. No
further information was immediately available.
Eurex contracts include futures on the German 10-year
government bond and the Dow Jones Euro Stoxx 50 stock index.

Eurex Technical Platform is even worse
than ARCA in it's really bad time...

They don't even transmit all trades
to quote vendors...

I would vote to replace this damn thing!

Yes, that is interesting what's the reason for this Eurex policy. eSignal's quotes lag ~2 to 10 sec. IB's quotes in 2 sec snapshots (I believe it was 1 sec. some time ago). However I didn't have any problems with executions.

maybe I'm blinking real fast and making this up but I definately see the eurex quotes (size and price) on the IB TWS update well under a second.
