There are so many threads on IB that I I no longer no where to post. So I'm starting a new thread which I'll come back to from time to time with upcoming news...

So here goes:

As of tomorrow, all accounts with over 25K in equity will receive 4:1 margin all the time.

Great news. I hope that the Universal account comes out soon after the beta testing is completed.
 
margin leverage @4:1 for account over 25k isn't a news...it has been there since long in any brokerage

I'm not impressed with the postings...anyway, good try

I am thinking of opening an account with Interactive Brokers. Their server seems to be slow. Has that been a problem? Also, how secure are the funds placed with Interactive Brokers compared to say Schwab or Etrade? rmj.
