I am going to open an account with IB. I just want to know whether i can have 2 workspaces, so i can watch the US action on 1 screen and the European action on another screen?
I watch Futures on one page, Forex on the other. Can even set alerts to make me look at the other page or stick a ticker one one page for what I need to watch now while trading another.
"Workspaces" are something else - they save all your open windows, positions, etc.
You could put your European tickers on one page, US stocks on another, etc., and then "tear away" pages so that they are displayed at the same time, as long as you don't go over your ticker limit, which is 100 simultaneously displayed tickers as a base, plus another ticker for each $8 you spend in monthly commissions.
