IB MarketDepth question?

I just downloaded IB's demo TWS, and everything seems to be working fine except when I open the MarketDepth window I get nothing...no depth at all.....I've tried it for futures and stocks but mainly I'm just concerned about futures....The BookTrader shows the current bid/ask size so I know I'm getting the quotes and all everthing seems right, except the depth....Am I doing something wrong or missing something?

they don't make depth available via the demo account.
you need to open an account and register for depth from the futures exchange you want (ib's all electronic, globex, ecbot, etc)
once you open an account, if you want to paper trade, you can open a simulated trading account that has the same services as your real one
