IB - List of Shortable Stocks

I thought it was updated everyday.
Too bad they didn't have any SOHU for short at all.

I don't know when the list is updated, but stocks that are shortable vary continuously through the day. I never use the list - I just try it to see if it works.

Any ideas on the short term swing of a stock due to its being unshortable or very difficult to borrow? I believe there must be some sort of correlation or trend in this type of situation.

I think there is something being said regarding demand, supply when there is a shortage (pun intended) of anything!
