You heard wrong, Spammy!

IB is a very reliable low-cost broker. Very innovative, with many many great features.

Everybody else is just struggling to catch up, hence these "Bash-and-Spam" threads. Does IB occasionally have problems? Of course. What broker doesn't?

Been with them for years and years. Rarely have problems. I make many thousands of stock, option and futures trades every year. IB works great.

Why do you see this as a quirk? The exchanges are sorted in alphabetical order, same as for stocks and options.

Heavy losses? Any scalp I do always has a bracket of targets and stoplosses attached. They are in the IB servers, even when I have a pinkout.

PS. I think IB is an excellent trading platform and agree with Wayne that the others are just not succeeding in catching up. Spamming this forum won't help them.
