Ib will not provide back fill when the issue is on their end. I assume they store live data, and do not go back to exchange to retrieve what's missing.
I thought it was just a higher low and tweezer bottom at 260.60 on 5 min chart that brought it back up. But I agree the move was quite stronger than expected.
I sometimes watch Bloomberg TV Asia but that's about it.
