For certain options like SMH, IWM, MNX, etc, IB shows charges on your daily trades of about $.43 or so for them. But it seems they have another fee of about $.50 or so per options which they call "exchange fees: and label under "unbundled commissions".
IB says these fees were in place for over a year, but only last month started listing them separately. I asked them where they used to be listed, and they say it was under commissions previously. I would often monitor "commissions" and never noticed fees of almost $1.00 per option!
IB has now charged me over $700 this month in such fees.
