It is for customers who do $400 a week in commissions not have a large account balance.

I pay that in a day sometimes. How does one go about getting a Key Account? I did a quick google search and nothing came up.

Indeed. It sounds like an "off-menu" service. Like the old AMEX card stuff. You were never invited to the black-card club. You just had to know of it and ask for it specifically. If you had the financial means, you got in.

It would be interesting to compare the level of service now vs before. I actually think they have eliminated waiting times just like the trading desk line. The email states they have a dedicated support team around the globe and phone lines not published anywhere else. Anyway, while I'm thankful for this new programme, I don't call IB that often, probably 4 calls a year max.

Both their direct KAS and toll-free numbers still go to some generic recording saying they are busy and then it just hangs up.
