RealTick charges their partnered brokers a transaction fee for each trade. There is no way for these brokers to compete with IB because they have to pay Townsend.

IB integration with QCharts - what would you like to see?

I have Quote.com's "QLink" program. Its data F**ked up a large part of my systems yesterday and today. I get lots of 00.00's for last prices.
I called them and their response is...uh, we dont support that program, the "developer" left the company.
That was my only reason I was subscribing to their data!

If you understood integration you'd know that it is an optionable tool. It would not effect IB's current quote platform. MBT has integration with QCharts ESignal, Nextrend etc. It still does not effect MBT Navigator if you choose not to have it integrated.
I guess I should have educted people before discussing this. The topic is going nowhere. Oh well.......

If we integrated IB with a charting app, they won't effect each others quotes, they will still use there own quotes. The integration would just be a cosmetic GUI one. Thats all.
If the using an industry proven reliable feed like Esignal, the integration could lift the price from Level II for example when creating an order, but that would be it. I personally haven't seen anything wrong with IB's data feed but I am a new user.
