IB increase option commisions for self routed orders

The AMEX is the same, just not as consistant.

That smart routing scares me ...

Timber gets the electronic show on all IB orders that are sent though the auto-router, as opposed to self-directed to the floor.

They make money on the maket making side, and the broker side, so they can offer lower commisions.

Not sure if this is bad or good... seems it could be argued either way.

It works anywhere they are holding your cancel ...

Another trick is to modify away from the market; wait for that to go live and then cancel ...

good - because unlike many of the MM's Timber honors its quotes.
